Certification of welders to AMS (formerly Mil-Spec) and AWS specifications is performed at METL. We qualify weld procedures, equipment and welders for TIG, MIG, plasma, laser and electron beam welding. In addition, METL performs analysis of weld wire to insure alloy composition compliance.
Braze joints and braze alloys are also examined for quality and compliance to applicable specification requirements.
